A packed entertainment schedule is coming up in the Modesto region. Country singer ERNEST pulls into the Fruit Yard Amphitheater, while the Gallo Center officially kicks off its 2024-25 season with a show by Michael Feinstein. These are just two of the many options planned for Sept. 14-20.
ERNEST
ERNEST, full name Ernest Keith Smith, will bring his “Legalize Country Music Roadshow” to the Fruit Yard Amphitheater, with guest Graham Barham. ERNEST is known for songs such as “Flower Shops,” “Hangin’ On,” “Would if I Could” and “I Went to College/I Went to Jail.” He has collaborated on music with Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson.

Gallo Center opener
Michael Feinstein’s “Because of You: My Tribute to Tony Bennett” will officially kick off the 2024-25 season at the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto. Feinstein will make his debut at the venue celebrating the music of Bennett, accompanied by the 15-piece Carnegie Hall Big Band.

Opera Modesto
“The Marriage of Figaro” is next production from Opera Modesto, to be performed at the Gallo Center. “Disguises, mistaken identities, and a lot of hiding in (and under) things abound in resident company Opera Modesto’s dazzling production of this great comedy by Mozart,” according to the Gallo Center website.

Rodrigo y Gabriela

Prince tribute

“Hair”
