Indigo Girls make their debut performance at the Gallo Center for the Arts. In addition, there will be a celebration for Juneteenth, artists outdoors showing their talents and more entertainment in the Modesto region from June 18-24.

Indigo Girls bring their music to the Gallo Center. The Grammy-winning folk duo has a 35-year career that includes 16 studio albums and a dedicated following. The Indigo Girls’ debut performance at the Gallo Center includes guest artist Becky Warren.

Juneteenth

The King-Kennedy Memorial Center’s Board of Directors presents “Celebrate Juneteenth” at Graceada Park with food, vendors, live entertainment, games and more. The Juneteenth holiday marks the end of slavery in the U.S.

Paint Out

Artists Chella, Rich Ingraham and Vince Walsh will demonstrate their painting outdoors for the public at the Plein Air Paint Out, presented by Modesto’s Mistlin Gallery. They will be painting around the McHenry Mansion, the Farmers Market, the Rose Garden and the McHenry Museum.

“A Chorus Line”

MoBand

“Country Pop” is next up for the Modesto Band of Stanislaus County as it continues its season at Mancini Bowl in Graceada Park. Many people put down their blankets early to save spots over the day and then take picnics later to enjoy during the concerts.
