A “Laser Spectacular” featuring the music of Pink Floyd and jazz group Spyro Gyra are among the top entertainment events planned in the Modesto region the week of Nov. 13 to 19.

Rock and lasers

The Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular returns to the Gallo Center. Surrounded by walls of sound, the show features high-powered lasers, large screen video projections and special lighting effects, set to the music of rock band Pink Floyd.

Youth Symphony

The Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra returns to the Gallo Center stage with its season opening concert. The show will feature pieces by Handel, John Williams, Strauss and Bizet.

Spyro Gyra

Family theater

The Carnegie Arts Center offers the Light Box Theatre Company production of “The Totally Believable Adventures of Timey Wimey Hermes the God.” A child arrives home to find the Greek god Hermes trying to steal her Nintendo Switch.
