Rod & Custom Car Show
Graffiti Summer 2015 winds down with the eighth annual Rod & Custom Car Show. Registration to the show is open to all vehicles – classic cars, custom hot rods and more. Some 150 to 200 cars are expected at the event. Proceeds benefit Modesto Elks and local organizations.

B93 Big Summer Show
The hot weather brings in the hot new acts as iHeart Media’s B93 FM brings its Big Summer Show to the State Theatre on Monday, June 29. The show will feature singers Mat Kearney, Rachel Platten, Becky G., Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Christian Burghardt and newly crowned “American Idol” winner Nick Fradiani. Kearney has charted on the mainstream and Christian charts with songs including “Nothing Left To Lose” and “Heartbeat.” Platten is a rising star whose single “Fight Song” is climbing the charts and was recently brought onstage to perform with superstar Taylor Swift.

‘The Music Man’
The second of two local productions of the beloved musical “The Music Man” opens this weekend in the region. Sierra Repertory Theatre brings the story of a con man named Harold Hill, who changes his way and becomes a hero to a small Iowa town. The show boasts a 37-member cast, the largest in SRT history. The Modesto Performing Arts production of “The Music Man” at the Gallo Center for the Arts continues this weekend, too.

Yosemite Festival
One of the two men to be the first in history to free-climb El Capitan’s Dawn Wall will help celebrate the park at the Yosemite Festival. Kevin Jorgeson will appear at the event to commemorate Yosemite National Park’s 125th anniversary. Festivities also include live music, rock climbing, art exhibits and more.

Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee

Hilmar Dairy Festival
