Popular festival, Mexico star among entertainment coming up in the Modesto region
Riverbank’s annual celebration of wine and cheese returns, while another festival features beer and some tasty treats. Those are just two of the events planned in the Modesto region for the week of Oct. 9-16.
Cheese and wine
The Riverbank Cheese and Wine Festival returns. There will be cheese, wine and craft beer tastings, vendors, a family fun zone, wine stomp, entertainment and more.

Beer, brats, bacon
The Veterans Foundation of Stanislaus County presents its Beers, Brats & Bacon Fest. The event features two tasting sessions. Must be 21 or older to attend.
