Hear live-stream music by Modesto region artists, including “American Idol” contestant
If you miss hearing local musicians at your favorite night spots as the coronavirus pandemic continues to keep you inside, tune in to the live streaming going on regularly from Modesto.
ModestoView and the Modesto Area Music Association have been offering the virtual music for several weeks and plan to continue throughout May “and beyond if needed,” according to an email from ModestoView’s Middagh Goodwin.
Upcoming performances begin at 6 p.m. with the exception of a live stream by Effie Passero, a former Modestan who competed in 2018 on “American Idol” and who is now staying-in-place in Mexico, according to the email. Her performance on Sunday, May 10, will begin at 5 p.m.
