Central Valley Brewfest

More than 40 breweries will serve up craft beers at the fairgrounds in Turlock. There will be games and a wine tent for the first hour of event. A freshly baked baguette will be handed to each ticket holder to enjoy with the tastings.

“7 Women 7 Stools”

The musical “7 Women 7 Stools” comes to Modesto, the story of seven women, their struggles, feelings and pain as they overcome obstacles. A five-piece electric band sets the tempo of the story, backing up a diverse cast. Written, directed and produced by Delilah Rashell, the show has sold out across the country. The local stop is sponsored by the Modesto/Stanislaus Branch of the NAACP, Modesto Women’s Auxiliary and Modesto Clergy Network.

Mother Lode Roundup

Enjoy a parade and rodeo sponsored by the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Posse. The parade on Saturday begins at 10 a.m. in downtown Sonora. The rodeo runs Saturday and Sunday at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds beginning at 2 p.m.
