Classic film

Celebrate Earth
Earth Day in the Park is a day of “green” education, live entertainment, activities for all ages, food, electronic waste and CRV recycling, electric cars, yoga and more, all held a Modesto’s Graceada Park.

Helicopter egg drop
The second Eggstravaganza features a helicopter flying over to drop 35,000 eggs onto the property at Shelter Cover Church. Four hunts will be held every half hour based on age.

Egg hunt at reservoir
The fifth annual Easter egg hunt at the Modesto Reservoir is presented by Stanislaus County Parks and Recreation. More than 10,000 eggs will be spread out for kids to find. There will be free photos with the Easter Bunny. Enjoy crafts, face paining, train rides, games and more.

Victorian Easter
Dress up in Easter finery to be part of a Victorian-era promenade on Main Street in Columbia State Historic Park. Prizes will be awarded for fanciest Victorian hat, best-dressed couple, lasses and lads, groups and pets. Thaddeus E. Hare (Columbia’s Easter Bunny) will be out and about town.
