Missed Saturday’s open studio art tour? Good news, there’s 1 more day to check it out

Regional artists are giving the public an insider tour of how and where they create their works this weekend during the annual Stanislaus Artist Open Studio Tour.

The event began Saturday and continues Sunday with 53 artists showing at 29 homes and other venues in Modesto, Oakdale and Turlock. Some locations feature multiple artists teaming to present their works in one place.

The event continues Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. To attend, purchase the official map tour book, available for $10 at regional galleries. Students under age 18 can tour the studios for free when accompanied by a map holder. For more, see www.facebook.com/StanislausAOS.
