Chavez celebration
The annual Cesar E. Chavez Family Day Celebration returns this weekend with guest speakers, cultural dances, entertainment and community resource booths. This family event honors the late farmworker advocate and is sponsored by the City of Modesto, Parks Recreation and Neighborhoods Department and Modesto City Schools’ Student, Parent and Community Support Services.

Jeremy Stolle
A recording artist, concert singer and Broadway actor returns to his hometown to perform for the Modesto Community Concert Association. Jeremy Stolle has long starred in the Broadway production of “Phantom of the Opera” and has several other Broadway shows under his belt.

Turlock talent
The Tam-Tam Talent Show returns to the Turlock Community Theatre to showcase local talent in just about any genre. Open to singers, dancers, bands, acrobats, magicians, comedians, pets and trainers and variety acts, the event is a fundraiser for the Turlock venue.

Open Studio Tour
More than 50 artists at 29 studios and gallery venues in Turlock, Modesto and Oakdale open their doors to the public for the annual Stanislaus Artist Open Studio Tour.
