Legendary rock group America will be performing at the Stanislaus County Fair this summer, it was announced on Tuesday.

America will perform on Wednesday, July 15 on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m.

The concert will be hosted by Sunny 102.3 and is free with the price of admission to the fair.

“America is one of the most popular soft-rock bands of the era and we’re extremely excited to have them performing at Fair,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “Their classic melodic folk hits will take fans down memory lane.”

America’s “A Horse With No Namne,” “I Need You,” “Tin Man,” and “Sister Golden Hair,” were the foundations of 1970’s Top 40 and FM rock radio.

The group played at Modesto's Gallo Center in November.
