Stanislaus Artist Open Studio Tour
Experience the artistic process firsthand at the fifth annual Stanislaus Artist Open Studio Tour. More than 60 artists across the county will open their homes, studios and galleries to the public as part of the self-guided tour. Artists will showcase their works in progress, portfolios, sketches and more while demonstrating and discussing their art. The tour includes painters, sculptors, ceramic artists, woodworkers, photographers and many more.

Art & Music Extravaganza
Event offers free family fun and raises awareness of mental health issues. The event will be a kickoff for the Peer Recovery Art Project’s Mental Health Matters initiative. Live music will be performed by Big Earl and the Cryin’ Shame, Patty Castillo Davis, Rob Hill and Tony Trevino. The festivities also will include a custom car show, art exhibit and speakers.

‘Honky Tonk Angels’
Sierra Repertory Theatre brings back the popular musical. Last produced by the foothills theater company in 2004, the show follows three women with dreams of country stardom. The production includes performances of some of the biggest hits from Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Kitty Wells, Dolly Parton, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Reba McEntire.

Sonora Spring Festival
Enjoy arts and crafts, street entertainment, an antique firetruck display, children’s activities and more. Gold Country Peddler’s Faire
Browse for treasures at the Gold Country Peddler’s Faire in historic Knights Ferry. The event features antiques, collectibles, crafts and more than 100 dealers. The popular event is presented by the Knights Ferry History & Museum Associates and will take place along the Stanislaus River near the covered bridge.

Victim’s Rights Rally & Family Safety Fair
Celebrate survivors in downtown Modesto this weekend. The free family event is being presented by the Stanislaus Family Justice Center and the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office Victim Services Unit. Festivities kick off with a performance by the Beyer High School marching band. Includes speakers, a balloon release ceremony, DNA kits, food, children’s activities and more.
