Riverbank Cheese & Wine Exposition
The always popular Riverbank Cheese & Wine Exposition returns for its 40th year. Enjoy more than 100 arts and crafts vendors, live music, carnival rides and more. Each day will have multiple wine-tasting sessions. New this year is a cheese zone with dairy delicacies and a German beer tent in the Oktoberfest area.

‘Legend of Sleepy Hollow’
Central West Ballet brings back the ballet “Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” The new fall classic is based on the ghost story by Washington Irving about a school teacher haunted by a headless horseman. Company Artistic Director René Daveluy co-choreographed the production and composed its original music.

The Walking Dead Sonora
It’s alive! Alive! The Walking Dead Sonora returns to raise funds for the Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency Food Bank and Humane Society of Tuolumne County. Event includes a Zombie Walk, costume contest, “Thriller” performance, raffles and more. A zombie makeup booth will run from 2 to 5 p.m.

Harvest Festifall
Step back in time and into fun at the 32nd annual Harvest Festifall. Shop from close to 50 vendors dressed in 1850s attire. Merchandise includes handmade arts and crafts, apparel, home decor, wood furniture and baked goods. Day includes demonstrations in spinning and weaving and children’s activities.

The Hit Men
The Hit Men are back for another shot of nostalgia. The show features musicians who have toured and recorded with the likes of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Tommy James and The Shondells, Carly Simon, Elton John, Cat Stevens, and others. The show includes hits by those greats and behind-the-scenes stories.

Big Earl and the Cryin’ Shame
Popular local blues act Big Earl and the Cryin’ Shame are back on stage. The Modesto Area Music Association Award-winning group will plays a benefit for the benefit for Center for Human Services’ Pathways and Hutton House programs. The band has opened for B.B. King, Charlie Musselwhite and others.
