A day for champions

It rained on their parade, but the Sonora High state volleyball champions in CIF Division IV didn’t seem to mind Friday afternoon. Nor did their supporters, who lined Washington Street to applaud the girls. The Wildcats took the crown Dec. 6, beating Alta Loma at Santiago Canyon College in Orange County.
