Dale Price: Wanting to build a wall and protect gun rights doesn’t make us racists

Re “Make America safer for Donald” (Letters, May 24): I am disappointed to read that a fellow Valley resident would go beyond Hillary’s “Basket of Deplorables” and label Donald Trump supporters racist. I fail to see how not building the wall and instead adding to the enormous number of existing gun-control laws would make us safer. I certainly do not want the Social Security administration determining who should be allowed to purchase firearms. I hope to comfort liberals with the fact that law-abiding gun owners are no threat to them.

I’m also betting that he would agree with Nancy Pelosi’s statement that illegals should not be deported until they break a law!
