Jeffrey Tudor: Amgen caused too many traffic headaches, don’t bring it back
Re “Amgen spins through Modesto for first time in six years” (Front page, May 16): Do not bring back the Amgen Tour of California! All the streets downtown, our highway exits and off ramps are closed and the traffic is absolutely ridiculous! And for what? A dumb little bike ride? Unless city officials can get some training on how to properly handle an event like this, it cannot return. Furthermore, whoever coordinated this event should be fired.
