Charles Voss: Since when did salmon become more important than any other food?
Re “Agriculture still faces hit in updated river flow plan” (Front page, Sept. 16): I guess John McManus, executive director of the Golden Gate Salmon Association, and others believe putting more water down the river “so we have more salmon to eat” is more important than California’s ag industry. When will California wake up? We are ruining our No.1 industry. I hope everyone enjoys that salmon, because there won’t be any fruits, vegetables or dairy to go with it!
