Man shot, killed on Crows Landing Road west of Ceres
Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the Friday night shooting death of a man on Crows Landing Road.
Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Parker said deputies responded to a call at 11:30 p.m. Friday of a person who was shot in the 4300 block of Crows Landing Road. When they arrived at the 2-acre residence, they found a man in his 30s who was shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Parker said it is unclear what caused the incident, though the shooter has been identified. It is unclear whether the shooter or the victim lived at the residence, he said.
The investigation is ongoing.
