24-year-old man identified as fatal shooting victim in Empire

A 24-year-old man was identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Empire on Thursday night.

Andrew Miller, of Empire, died in a local hospital after he was found shot in the upper body in the 100 block of Church Street, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.

Law enforcement were called to the area after the shooting via a 911 call at 8:47 p.m.

There is no suspect information and investigators are looking for the public’s help.
