Sheriff's office releases sketches of men wanted in Modesto taco truck killing
The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department on Wednesday released sketches of two suspects in a south Modesto murder.
Samuel Gallardo, 22, was gunned down in front of a bar Nov. 26.
He was on a date with his girlfriend and another couple when they stopped at a taco truck in front of the El Paraiso bar on Crows Landing Road.
The couples had just sat down to eat at one of the picnic benches when a car full of men pulled into the parking lot.
A group of four or five men got out of the car and began fighting with Gallardo. The fight escalated and, within minutes, Gallardo had been shot.
The suspects got back into the vehicle and fled east on Olivero Road.
Witnesses provided descriptions of two of the suspects, and detectives are asking for help finding the men.
