Turlock police are looking for two men who shot a man during a home-invasion robbery Monday night.

The crime occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on the 400 block of Florence Street, just about a tenth of a mile from the Police Department.

"We believe that this was a targeted residence and not a random victim," said Turlock police spokesman Sgt. Russell Holeman. The department is not releasing at this time information on what they believe the men were after.

The victim, a 25-year-old male, suffered a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening, Holeman said.

There is not much of a description of the men. One is black, 20 to 30 years old, and the other is a Latino of large stature. The vehicle they used is possibly a gray Nissan Maxima, Holeman said.

Anyone with information on the suspects or the crime is asked to call the Turlock Police Department at 209-668-5550, or Stanislaus Area Crime Stoppers at 209-521-4636. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for cash reward.
