The man killed in a shooting in a Turlock neighborhood Sunday has been identified by police as 38-year-old Turlock resident Justin Anderson.
About 11:50 p.m. that night, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of Angelus Street, just west of Lander Avenue.
Anderson was found lying on the ground in an alley. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police had no additional information to release Thursday on what led to the shooting or any suspects sought. Detectives continue to process evidence and interview witnesses, said department spokesman Sgt. Russ Holeman. "It's a whodunit at this point," he said.
