Employees got the opportunity to display their warehouse equipment wrangling skills as Dot Foods’ California Distribution Center in Modesto held its annual Forklift Rodeo on Wednesday. Employees competed in four categories: Narrow Aisle, Sitdown Lift Truck, Yale and the Mule (also known as an electric pallet jack). One winner in each category will be declared the local champion and go on to compete against the champs of the other seven distribution centers throughout the nation. They will meet at Dot Foods’ corporate headquarters in Mt. Sterling, Ill., on June 19.
