Info: Speaker Van Potterton, a CareMore Health Plan representative, will review its coverages, particularly regarding diabetes. Neuropathy is a debilitating disease. What: Catholic Daughters of the Americas’ Luncheon and Fashion Show

When: Saturday, doors open at 11 a.m., show at noon

What: Family and Paws Walk For Clean Water

When: Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration deadline is Saturday.

Where: Tenth Street Plaza, 1010 10th St.

Info: The event, to celebrate Earth Month and raise money for the Clean Water Fund, will include a group dog walk; dog adoptions; food; music and other entertainment; and vendors for people and dogs. 100 YEARS AGO: The Star Theater would be showing for the final time “The Beckoning Flame,” a five-act drama starring Henry Woodruff. The theater would also present a four-act comedy, “A Modern Enoch Arden,” starring Joe Jackson.
