High school baseball postseason is here. How the CIF ranked Stanislaus-area teams

The CIF Sac-Joaquin Section on Saturday released the 2026 baseball playoff brackets for Divisions I through VII. The first round begins Wednesday, May 6 with games at home sites, hosted by the higher seed.

There is just one play-in game. In Division IV, Beyer of the Western Athletic Conference finished tied with Pacheco for second place and was awarded the No. 17 seed. The Patriots travel to No. 16 Burbank.

Divisions I through III and V are 16-team brackets without byes or play-ins. No. 1 seeds Ripon Christian and Vacaville Christian have first-round byes in Divisions VI and VII, respectively.

In total, 17 Stanislaus District teams advanced to the postseason.

Here’s how each playoff division was seeded:
