Charles R. Shetron: Kaepernick should take stand up, take a hike
Colin Kaepernick is an example of our utterly failed education system, which has left him so ill-informed that he processes rumor and innuendo as fact. Even more annoying is that he, like so many others in the entertainment industry, arrogantly believes that their entertainment abilities magically endow them with profound insight into everything else in life. The ultimate in aggravation is reserved for the media who promote the musings of these performers like there is value in their noise.
For me, Kaepernick’s actions, on several levels, are an affront and I wish he would take his modest entertainment skills elsewhere so that I can follow the 49ers in this and subsequent seasons.
