Chic estate from hit Netflix series ‘Nobody Wants This’ hits California market. See it
When Netflix dropped their romantic comedy series “Nobody Wants This” — starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody — it was an immediate hit in 2024 thanks to the chemistry of the two leads … and the low-key posh locations the production crew featured throughout the episodes.
Out of all the unique sides of Los Angeles the show displayed, one that was most coveted was the residence known as “The Podcast House,” the setting where two characters would host their popular sex podcast.
And now, that very real house has listed in the Golden State.
“Designed by the acclaimed David Lucido and prominently featured in Elle Decor, this extraordinary 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home has been recently and meticulously remodeled to blend timeless elegance with modern luxury,” the listing on Sotheby’s International Realty describes.
With an asking price of $3.795 million, the 3,776-square-foot residence effortlessly mixes soft furnishings, beige walls featuring art work with bright colors that pop, and casual sleekness.
“Every inch of the main residence exudes craftsmanship and artistry, from the imported Saltillo tile flooring to the custom plaster bathroom walls,” the listing says. “A centerpiece of the home, the staircase, is adorned with hand-painted tiles by a local artisan, adding an unmistakable charm. The recently upgraded chef’s kitchen is a true culinary haven, featuring premium appliances.”
Fans of the show will recognize the living room, where Bell’s character Joanne and her sister Morgan (played by Justine Lupe) would film their popular podcast, which the show centered around.
The listing is held by Marc Noah of Sotheby’s International Realty – Beverly Hills Brokerage.
