Charming homes for sale have a California twist — they are in a tiny home village
Tiny houses have swept the nation recently due to soaring real estate prices and sky-high rent, so a lot of people are looking to down size. And a village in California is taking advantage of that opportunity.
Recently, three homes in a tiny home village in Topanga have hit the market for $299,000 each.
“As the U.S. continues to tackle affordable housing, these tiny home villages have become lower cost entry points for first-time homebuyers. These airstream-like homes offer a chance to own in the heart of the Topanga Village for a much lower-cost than a traditional home,” listing agent Christopher Damon said in a news release.
The homes are close to everything — Pepperdine University, Calabasas and Santa Monica — where a typical home costs over seven figures.
Features of the tiny homes, per the release, include:
Modern kitchens
Farmhouse sinks
Sleeping area
Natural light
Private patio spaces
Views
“These classics are more than just homes; they are an opportunity to join a unique community that celebrates simplicity, sustainability and connection,” Damon said. “Whether used for a weekend getaway, creative space or primary residence, these timeless tiny homes offer it all.”
The listing is by Christopher and Alicia Damon with Coldwell Banker Realty.
