It’s National Bagel Day! Here’s how to get your hands on a free one at Einstein Bros.

Einstein Bros. Bagels wants to help you celebrate National Bagel Day the right way: with bagels, of course!

In an effort to “bake your day,” the restaurant is giving away a free bagel and shmear with purchase today (Jan. 15) only, the company said in a news release.

But that’s not all! You’ll also receive a coupon for a free bagel and shmear so you can “pay-(a bagel)-forward to someone else,” the release said.

The offer is valid at participating locations only and can’t be used at hospitals, colleges, hotels, airports or military bases, the company says.

“We like to say that our bakers wake up the roosters,” chief baker Chad Thompson said in the release. “They’re up before dawn starting the baking ritual, every day, so our guests can enjoy a fresh-baked bagel. We strive to ‘bake your day’ every day, but on National Bagel Day, we especially want to make sure of it.”
