Oakland man arrested in Patterson on gun, stolen vehicle charges

An Oakland man was arrested late Monday afternoon in Patterson after reportedly stopping his vehicle in front of a woman’s car, getting out and pointing a gun at her. The car he drove had been reported stolen from the Bay Area.

The road rage incident occurred near Shearwater Drive and American Eagle Avenue, according to Patterson Police Services. The victim was able to quickly and safely leave the area and call 911, according to a Facebook post by Police Services.

Minutes later, deputies found a matching car in the area of American Eagle and Jewel Flower Drive. A man who matched the description given by the victim was seen standing in the front yard.

Mario Green, 20, was approached and later arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen car and brandishing a weapon.
