Wells Fargo bank in Sonora robbed Monday afternoon
A woman escaped with an undisclosed amount of money after robbing the Wells Fargo Bank at 808 Mono Way on Monday afternoon.
Shortly after 4 p.m., a white female estimated to be in her mid- to late 30s entered the bank and presented a note to a bank teller, demanding money. After getting the money, the suspect left through the north doors. Which direction she went from the parking lot was unknown.
The suspect is described as having, long, blond hair and wearing a black baseball cap, oversize sunglasses and carrying a large, flower-print handbag. No weapon was seen.
