Child porn suspect arrested in Livingston
A suspect accused of possessing child pornography was one of three people arrested last week during a probation sweep conducted by law enforcement in Livingston and Delhi. Alberto Valencia, 24, was booked at the Merced County Jail after images of child pornography were found on his computer, according to Livingston police. The other suspects taken into custody included Daniel Garibay, 22, on suspicion of possessing ammunition and gang paraphernalia. Miguel Smith, 32, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm and ammunition. The sweeps were conducted Thursday by Livingston police, the Merced Mariposa Gang Task Force and Merced County Probation Department. The sweep included 38 compliance checks in Livingston and three in Delhi.
