Death on display at The 99 in Modesto
Hundreds have turned out since Friday to see The 99, a traveling exhibit at Vintage Faire Mall.
It’s called The 99 because that’s the number of young people who die each day in the United States. The exhibit focuses on the consequences of bad decisions, such as using drugs, domestic violence and car accidents.
The 99 runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 2, 3, 4, and 9, 10, 11; and Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15, 16, 17 and 18. Doors open at 7 p.m. and close at 11 p.m. The cost is $10. Only people 11 years and older will be admitted.
