Stanislaus Coroner’s Office looking for families of four men who died in Modesto recently

The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office is looking for the families of four men who died in Modesto in the past six weeks.

Christopher Morgan, 50, died of natural causes at Doctors Medical Center on July 4.

Gerald Butterfield, 59, died at Doctors Medical Center on July 24.

Mark Wallace, 67, was a transient who died outside of a residence in Modesto on July 30.

Daniel Borbon Sosa y Silva, 55, died Aug. 8 in a Modesto Orchard. There were no traumatic injuries on his body but his cause of death is pending. He is believed to be a transient from the San Bernardino area who has family in Mexico. He has the following tattoos: “BORBON” on the inside right arm, “SOSA” on the right-hand knuckles, “SILVA” on the left-hand knuckles and “MAGGIE” on the inside left arm.
