California player just misses $102 million Powerball. What’s the prize at now?
A Powerball ticket sold in California fell just one number short of winning the $102 million jackpot, lottery officials said.
Instead, the lucky ticket won $56,279.
The ticket matched four winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, Feb. 7, the California State Lottery said.

The lucky ticket was sold at La Hacienda Market at 365 Main St. in Fillmore, which is about 45 miles east of Santa Barbara, lottery officials said.

The winning numbers were 23, 36, 42, 51 and 58 with a Powerball of 6.
The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
A ticket sold in Georgia won $1 million, the national Powerball site said.
