Description: Handcrafted in Nicaragua, these fun and colorful whistles come in three sizes and in a variety of whimsical animal shapes. Potters for Peace is a volunteer organization that sends American artisans to help small potteries in Nicaragua begin to create and sell ceramic items to earn money for their villages. These whistles are made and sold as a fundraiser for the Potters for Peace program.

About the store: The Allen Family Members Gallery & Gift Shop at the Carnegie Arts Center in Downtown Turlock features pieces by regional artists and artisans, as well as unique gift items that encourage and celebrate creativity.
