'Mootopia' plays at dental offices
A message about milk is playing in more than 150 dental offices in the state.
The California Milk Processor Board has distributed a 60-second TV commercial citing the benefits of calcium in promoting healthy teeth.
The office of Dr. Linda Chen in Modesto is among those playing the ad in their waiting rooms this summer. The spot is part of a marketing campaign dubbed "Mootopia," about a place where milk flows freely and residents have healthy muscles, teeth and hair.

AWARD DEADLINE APPROACHES
July 12 is the deadline to nominate people for the fifth annual Leopold Conservation Award, which recognizes California landowners who protect the environment on farms, ranches and forestland.
The $10,000 award is named for the late Aldo Leopold, whose 1949 book, "A Sand County Almanac," helped inspire the environmental movement.
The award will be presented at the December annual meeting of the California Farm Bureau Federation in Monterey.
The group co-sponsors the award with the Sand County Foundation, based in Wisconsin, and Sustainable Conservation, based in San Francisco.
