OL Josh Tui, 6-2, 240, Sr. Pacheco – A two-way stalwart, was an All-WAC selection on the offensive and defensive lines.
SMALL SCHOOL OFFENSE
QB Jonathan O’Brien, 6-1, 195, Sr. Hilmar – Not a great season for Yellowjackets, but no quarterback has a much talent as O’Brien. Period.

DL Landen Ichord, Sr., Oakdale – Big. Powerful. Disruptive. And with a full Grizzly Adams beard, nobody in the district looked meaner.
DL Labron Alofaituli, 6-1, 230, Sr., Sierra – Was the linchpin of the Timberwolves’ defensive line.
DL Ezra Ruiz, 5-11, 225, Sr., Gregori – Was chosen the MMC’s Defensive Player of the Year. All he did was make plays.

P Donovan Bravo, 5-11, 160, Sr. Pitman – Pride assistant Jon Derr, who kicked for Pacific, believes Bravo has stronger leg than he did at same stage in their careers.

DL Jesse Flores, 6-0, 265, Soph., Delhi – Do yourself a favor: Find video of this Flores on MaxPreps and watch him … destroy! A force who always seemed to be in the opponents’ backfield. Keep your eye on this kid.

LB Conner Dowd, 6-1, 210, Modesto Christian – A tackling machine. His 194 tackles were first in the Stanislaus District and second in the Sac-Joaquin Section.

K Kevin Kramer, 5-9, 185, Sr., Ripon Christian – Made good on 27 of 30 PATs and opponents averaged less than 16 yards per return on his kickoffs.
Coach of the Year: Mike Parsons, Modesto Christian – Sure, Central Catholic’s Roger Canepa led the Raiders to a third consecutive state title and Oakdale’s Trent Merzon once again won a section title and led his squad to a NorCal regional bowl, but nobody expected the Crusaders (11-2) to come within a handful of points of a perfect season and a section title ... with just 19 players on the roster, no less. It was a masterful job by Parsons.
Player of the Year: Justin Rice, Central Catholic – He saved his best for last, rushing for nearly 1,000 yards in the postseason.
