Susie Barnes: Drivers not bright enough to turn on their lights
Re “Dimwits: Turn you lights on” (Letters, Jan. 30): I totally agree with the gentlemen from Manteca. I live 10 minutes from work and just this morning I counted 10 vehicles with no lights on. What are you thinking? This is thick fog we are driving in. Do you have a cramp in your hand that you can’t reach down and turn on your lights? I also agree that the CHP or local police should issue tickets to these people. They could cause an accident, which could cost you more.
Use you head and don’t think you are so good that you don’t have to drive with your lights on. Just turn them on! Let’s save lives, not take them.
