Tyler Graham hit a one-out RBI single in the bottom of the 13th to boost the San Jose Giants to a 4-3 victory over the Modesto Nuts on Sunday.
Modesto had tied the game in the top of the ninth when Michael McKenry hit a two-run double to left. Victor Ferrante had started the inning with a walk, followed by a double by Jay Cox.
Modesto's other run came in the seventh when Ferrante (walk) scored on a ground out to first by Thomas Simmons.
San Jose outhit the Nuts 13-8 and left 12 runners on. Ferrante, Cox and Travis Becktel each had two hits for Modesto. Both of Cox's hits were doubles.

Starter Simon Ferrer gave up seven hits and three earned runs in six innings, striking out four.
Tommy Baumgardner took the loss for Modesto, entering in the 13th and striking out Tyler LaTorre before giving up a double to Sharlon Schoop, who scored on the Graham single that followed.
