MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Brandon Bernstein held on to the top spot in Top Fuel qualifying Saturday in the O'Reilly NHRA Mid-South Nationals.
Ashley Force and Allen Johnson also stayed at the top of their fields at Memphis Motorsports Park, and Chip Ellis grabbed the No. 1 qualifier award in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the 21st of 24 events on the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.
Bernstein's Friday run of 3.825 seconds at 313.88 mph remained the quickest run in motorsports' fastest category. It's Bernstein's second No. 1 qualifier of the season and 13th of his career.
Funny Car didn't see much movement either as Force's 4.079 at 298.87 stayed strong. It's Force's third No. 1 qualifier of the season and of her career.

Johnson drove his Dodge Stratus to a 6.591 at 208.52, a track record for elapsed time. It's Johnson's third No. 1 qualifier of the season and sixth of his career.
Ellis had the fastest run on a motorcycle, with a 6.910 at 191.10. It's Ellis' first No. 1 qualifier of the season, 13th of his career and second consecutive at Memphis Motorsports Park.
