Three things to watch in the Cup race

No one knows for sure what's going to happen, but here's some of what might be worth keeping an eye on in the Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:

1. Jimmie Johnson comes into New Hampshire looking for his third consecutive win, which he hopes will launch him to his third consecutive Sprint Cup Series championship. With a good record at the track and a strong starting position due to the cancellation of qualifying, he is good position for both.

2. One year ago Clint Bowyer burst into the championship picture with his first Cup career win at this race. He was fastest in practice Friday and Saturday and appears poised to once again mix up the Chase standings.

3. While most of the attention will be focused on the 12 drivers in the Chase, there are still 33 other guys looking to win. David Reuitmann has set or matched his career best Cup finish in his past two races. Can he make it three in a row?
