FORT WORTH, Texas - Brad Coleman, who already has agreed to run a full Nationwide Series schedule next season with Brewco Motorsports, has also signed a driver development deal with Hall of Fame Racing, team officials confirmed on Friday.
NASCAR's Busch Series will become the Nationwide Series in 2008.
In addition to running the Busch races, Coleman, 19, will also participate in an extensive testing program with Hall of Fame, which will field driver J.J. Yeley in the Cup series next season. By the end of the year, the team hopes to field Coleman in a second Cup car for approximately five races.
Coleman has competed in 18 Busch Series races with three top-five and five top-10 finishes and one pole. His best finish was a second at Kentucky Speedway.
