J.J. Yeley posts a top-10 finish

RICHMOND, Va. - While J.J. Yeley’s attention may have turned toward his new ride next season at Hall of Fame Racing, he still seems to be making gains at Joe Gibbs Racing.

Yeley finished 10th Saturday night, just his second top-10 finish of the season and fifth of his career. He earned his career-best second-place finish earlier this season at Charlotte.

“If you want to have a good run, you want to have your car best at the end of the night,” Yeley said. “I would have liked to have had even two more laps.

“It’s always fun when a car handles that good. When the car runs good you forget about everything else and enjoy the race more.”
