Kurt Busch wins pole for Saturday Busch race

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. -- Kurt Busch is looking for two in a row.

Busch won the pole for the second consecutive year for the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International and will look to replicate his victory in the Busch Series race of a year ago.

The pole is the second for Busch in the series and he will be looking for his third win in just 11 starts. Juan Pablo Montoya, who on the on the road course at Mexico City earlier this season, started second. Newman was third, Robby Gordon fourth and Scott Pruett completed the top five.

Series points leader Carl Edwards will line up 23rd.
