The Modesto Nuts and Boyett Petroleum have teamed up to turn high gas prices into inexpensive baseball.
For all remaining Tuesday games this season, the price of $5 general admission ticket will be reduced by the price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline at Boyett.
For example, if the price of a gallon is $4.35 all general admission tickets will be 65 cents. The higher the gas price, the cheaper the ticket.
The first-place Nuts have three Tuesday games remaining in the regular season: July 29 against Stockton, Aug. 11 against Rancho Cucamonga and Aug. 18 against Inland Empire and former Sierra High and Modesto Junior College outfielder Matt Berezay.

In addition, all customers who fill up at Boyett Petroleum four times before the end of the Modesto Nuts season (min. 5 gallons) can receive two complimentary general admission tickets to any Sunday - Wednesday Modesto Nuts home game in August. Bring the gas pump receipts to the Modesto Nuts box office to receive the tickets.
