The Bee's 2007-08 All-District Girls Basketball First Team

Brandi Henton, Soph.,

Modesto Christian

Henton, a 5-foot-7-inch guard, spearheaded the Crusaders' pressure defense and was the Western Athletic Conference MVP. She averaged 14.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, three assists and 4.1 steals a game for the Sac-Joaquin Section runner-up Crusaders.

Rachel McDaniel, Jr., East Union

The Valley Oak League MVP replaced 2007 Bee Player of the Year Christin Gowan as the Lancers' top player. The 5-7 guard/forward averaged 14 points, six rebounds. 4.5 assists and 3.9 steals and drew the toughest defensive assignment.

Jessica Graham, Sr.,

Modesto Christian

Graham, a transfer from Ripon, made the All-District team for the third consecutive year. She averaged 15.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.2 steals for MC and accepted a scholarship to play for the University of Idaho.

Tiare Jennings, Sr., Pitman

New Mexico State softball signee went out for basketball a week after the season started and still had a great year. The 5-8 guard/forward averaged 16.1 points, nine rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.3 steals for the Pride.

Jennifer Hansen, Jr., Le Grand

The Southern League MVP for the second year in a row did it all as the Bulldogs' lone returning starter. The 5-6 guard averaged 17 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals as Le Grand won its second consecutive Southern League title.
