SAN JOSE -- Darxia Morris scored 19 points on 9-for-11 shooting, Doreena Campbell had 13 and UCLA avenged two earlier defeats to its rival with a 73-52 victory over USC on Saturday night to reach the Pac-10 tournament semifinals.
Leading scorer Lindsey Pluimer added 11 points for the fifth-seeded Bruins (16-14), who advanced to today's semifinals to face No. 6 Stanford. The top-seeded Cardinal (28-3) eliminated Oregon State earlier Saturday.
Camille Lenoir scored 13 points but went 0-for-9 from 3-point range for the cold-shooting Trojans (17-13), the fourth-seeded team that shot just 30 percent and committed 29 turnovers.
It was the first meeting between the two Los Angeles schools in the seven-year history of the Pac-10 tournament -- and a sloppy matchup it was.
The teams combined for 51 turnovers and USC shot 2-for-21 from long range.
ARIZONA STATE 83, WASHINGTON 64 -- Sybil Dosty had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Briann January had 13 points and five assists as the third-seeded Sun Devils advanced to today's semifinals against No. 10 Cal.
The second-seeded Golden Bears have beaten Arizona State twice previously this season.
