PHOENIX -- The San Jose Sharks dominated Phoenix 6-0 on Thursday night for their fourth victory in a row and third over the Coyotes in six nights.
Two goals by Joe Pavelski and one each by Jeremy Roenick, Patrick Rissmiller, Devin Setoguchi and Steve Bernier provided the Sharks more than enough offense.
Goalie Evgeni Nabokov again was sharp in earning his third shutout of the season and the 37th of his career.
It wasn't long ago that the Sharks had trouble finding the goal, but they've outscored opponents 19-4 over four games.
Likewise, it wasn't long ago that a four-game win streak seemed beyond the Sharks' grasp. Before their current streak started, they won two games in a row just once. And just before the start of their 12-game trek through the Pacific, they suffered embarrassing losses in Detroit and Columbus.
But nine games into inter-divisional play, San Jose is 6-2-0-1.
"We've won four straight, but we've played really well nine straight games now," Sharks coach Ron Wilson said.
Roenick scored at 4:21 of the first period. His 501st goal moved him within one of Joe Mullen, whose 502 are the second-most by a U.S.-born player.
