College Soccer: Stanislaus women in hunt for playoff bid

LA JOLLA -- Cal State Stanislaus lost to No. 16 UC San Diego 4-0 on Sunday in a California Collegiate Athletic Association women's soccer game.

Now, a win or tie in next Saturday's finale at Chico State is crucial for the Warriors (9-6-2, 7-4-2 CCAA) if they're to make the postseason tournament. UC San Diego (12-2-1, 9-2-1) is on solid ground for a playoff berth. That leaves two spots for Stanislaus, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal Poly Pomona.
